Description
The gates and gatepiers at the entry to Madingley Hall were likely built around 1908. They feature rusticated red brick piers topped with reproduction stone urns that resemble those from Histon Manor, which are also found on the brick piers in the north wall of the kitchen garden, dating from the same period. The gates are made of elaborate wrought iron, showcasing C and S scrolls alongside the full achievement of the Harding Coat-of-Arms and the initials W.H. These structures are included for their group value.
