Description

This is a 19th-century mile post located to the northwest of the Spread Eagle Public House on Cambridge Road in Croxton. It is made of cast iron and features a triangular shape with a chamfered top. The mile post is painted white, with black letters in relief indicating distances: 14 miles to Cambridge, 4 miles to St Neots, and 75 miles to Oxford.
