Description

The House on the Hill is a pair of cottages dating from the late 17th century or early 18th century, with a 19th-century brick casing. The cottages feature a long straw thatched roof and have two local red brick ridge stacks. They are one storey high with attics, and there are four boarded doors along with four pivot hung sash windows set in segmental brick arches. Additionally, there are two pairs of similar sash windows in the dormer windows on the facade. This building is included for its group value.
