Description

Milestone located south of the junction with Waterbeach Road, dating from around 1763. It is a tapering block made of limestone, painted white, with a black inscription that is partly erased. The inscription reads 'LVI London, XI Ely, V Cambridge' on separate faces. This milestone is noted in J.R. Ravensdale's book, The Village of Landbeach, page 4, published in 1974.
