Description
Huntingdon Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the late 16th century or early 17th century, with alterations and additions made in the 19th and 20th centuries. It is constructed from timber framing and plaster, resting on a brick plinth, and features plain tiled roofs. The building has two storeys and a cellar, with a main range flanked by cross wings to the north and south. There is a ridge stack on the left side and a side stack on the north cross wing. A loggia with three bays is located between the cross wings, with the main entrance to the right. The farmhouse has two ground floor windows and five first floor windows of various sizes, all with large panes. Each gable is adorned with shaped barge boards and finials. Inside, there may be an open hall with some exposed timber framing and original roof timbers. The farmhouse is set within a moated site that was part of Huntingdon's manor.
