Description

Nos 46, 47, and 48 on Chapel Road are cottages dating from the 18th and 19th centuries. They are timber framed, rendered, and have a long straw thatch roof. The cottages feature an axial red brick ridge stack and a 19th-century stack at the east end. They are one storey high with an attic, and have four full gable dormers. The ground floor has four enlarged window openings and two doorways. The rear of the cottages was enlarged in the 20th century. These cottages are included for their group value.
