Description
Lambra Cottage and Restormel Cottage are two dwellings that were originally a public house, dating from the 18th century and extended in the 20th century. The cottages are timber framed, rendered, and have a long straw thatched roof, featuring a red brick axial ridge stack and an end stack. They are one storey with an attic, and include two gable dormers along with three ground floor modern casement windows with small panes. The front wall displays applied framing. The original baffle entry doorway is now blocked, with entrances relocated to the ends of the cottages. Inside Restormel Cottage, there is a small inglenook hearth made of red brick, some exposed wall framing, and some inserted timber.
