Description

Primrose Cottage is a house dating from the early 19th century, built after the local land enclosure of 1816. It is constructed primarily of red brick and flint gable walls, with brick stacks at each end. The street-facing facade is timber-framed and plastered. The roof is low-pitched and covered with slate. The cottage has two storeys and features three four-paned sash windows on the first floor, and two similar windows on the ground floor. A four-panelled door is set within a wooden architrave and is topped by a semi-circular fanlight with glazing bars.
