Description

Rose Cottage is a house that was formerly a maltster's house, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of painted local red brick and features a plain tile half-hipped roof with an end stack to the southwest. The building has two storeys with an attic and a gable facing the street. Notable architectural details include a sawtooth brick eaves cornice. The cottage has one attic casement window with glazing bars and one sixteen-paned hung sash window on both the first and ground floors. The entrance door, located on the right side, is a six-panelled design.
