Description

The Old Forge is a house dating from the early 19th century, built after the enclosure of 1816. It has a timber frame with plaster and features a local red brick stack at one end and a rear stack. The roof is covered with slate. On the first floor, there are four flush framed sash windows, with sixteen panes in two windows and twelve panes in the other two. The entrance door, located to the right of center, has six raised and fielded panels.
