Description

Two cottages, likely dating from the late 17th century with 19th-century additions, are located on High Street in Little Shelford. The older section of the buildings is timber-framed and plastered, with a steeply pitched tiled roof and a gable facing outward. Other sections are whitewashed or rendered in brick, with pantile roofs, and feature brick ridge and end stacks. The original layout of the buildings is obscured by later alterations and additions.

The cottages are two stories high. The older section has two small-paned horizontal sliding sash windows set in open boxing, with heads flush with the eaves, plus a larger, similar window on the ground floor. The section closer to the road has a two-window facade with similar small-paned horizontal sliding sash windows under cambered arches. A single-story addition to the rear accommodates the entrance to No. 95. The entrance to No. 93 is through a single-story, 19th-century slate-roofed addition that projects forward from the older range. A further two-story range is located at the rear.
