Description

No. 67 High Street is a cottage dating from the late 17th century, which was extended in the early 18th century and again in the 19th century. It was restored around 1983. The cottage is timber framed with exposed, rendered infill and features a thatched roof made of long straw. The original stack is rendered and includes a string-course. The building has a gable end facing the road and is one storey high with attics, featuring one dormer. The windows are 20th-century small pane casements. The central bays of the cottage have middle rails, while the bay closest to the road has continuous studs extending from the sill to the wall plate.
