Description

This barn, located approximately 40 meters to the west-northwest of Down Hall, dates from the late 16th century or early 17th century and has undergone later repairs. It is constructed with a timber frame and is weather boarded, topped with a corrugated iron roof. The barn features five single-aisled bays and has a double entrance on the northeast side. It is part of a moated site that includes the barns and a former farmhouse.
