Description

No. 111 High Street is a house that was formerly a shop, dating from the early 18th century, and was refronted in the mid-19th century. The building is timber-framed and plastered, with a painted brick front elevation that features giant pilasters at the corners. The main entrance is located to the left of the center and has a plain wooden doorcase with a half-glazed 20th-century door. On the right side, there are replacement windows with glazing bars, which retain the 19th-century shop window entablature and pilasters. This building is included for its group value.
