Description

Severalls is a cottage built in 1560 for John Everard. It features a timber frame, roughcast render, and a thatched roof made of combed wheat reed, which is half-hipped at the ends. The ridge and end stacks have been rebuilt. The cottage has a three-bay layout with a lobby entry and is one storey high with an attic. The attic, located at the west end, juts out on exposed joists. The walls include two dormers, one of which has old small pane horizontal sliding sashes. There are three small pane casements on either side of the doorway, which has a modern door leading to the lobby entry.
