Description

Oaslands is a house dating from the late 17th century or early 18th century. It was restored around 1980 and extended at the rear. The building is constructed of soft red brick with broad mortar courses, some of which have been repaired. It features a hipped roof with new tiles and an original ridge stack, which has a single round-headed arched recess on each side. There is a dentil eaves cornice. The house has two storeys with a band between the storeys. On the first floor, there are four windows, three of which may be in original openings. The ground floor window openings maintain the original arches but have later fenestration, including a 19th-century horizontal sliding sash. There is an early 19th-century doorcase leading to the doorway in the centre bay. The interior has not been seen.
