Description

This is a cottage, likely dating from the late 17th century, with alterations from the 19th century. It is timber framed and the front has been rendered on a rebuilt 19th century base of gault brick. The left-hand gable end is of late 17th century soft red brick. The roof was originally thatched, but is now covered with corrugated iron, with a parapet and end stack of matching soft red brick. A gault brick stack, likely also from the late 17th century and possibly original, is shared with the adjacent property at No. 103. The cottage is a single range and features one dormer window with a horizontal sliding sash, and two flush frame windows with small panes of glass. It has a boarded front door.
