Description
No. 20 on St John's Street is a house dating from the late 17th century, with 20th-century alterations and an addition. It is constructed with a timber frame and plastered exterior, topped by a plain tiled roof featuring a 19th-century brick ridge stack. The building has two storeys and a gable facing the street. To the north, it has been extended by one bay, and there is a single-storey lean-to extension to the west that includes a 20th-century entrance. The house features two first-floor horizontal sliding sash windows and ground-floor casement windows. Inside, there are chamfered ceiling beams.
