Description

This barn, located approximately 30 meters to the north-west of Down Hall, is likely from the late 17th century or early 18th century. It is constructed with a timber frame and is weather boarded, topped with a hipped roof made of corrugated iron. The barn features four timber-framed bays and includes a threshing floor. It extends in a north-east to south-west direction and is connected to a five-bay barn at its north-west end. The barn, along with the former farmhouse, is set within a moated site.
