Description

This is a house, dating from the late 17th to early 18th century. It is constructed of red brick in a Flemish bond pattern, with 19th-century and late 20th-century alterations. The roof is tiled, with parapet gables featuring kneelers and a moulded brick eaves cornice. A stack has been rebuilt at the east gable end, rising above the ridge. There may have originally been a ridge or side stack which was removed when a rear addition was created in the early 20th century. The house is two storeys high, with a plat band separating the floors. The original window openings remain, but the sills have been lowered. Four first-floor windows have 19th-century sash windows. The ground floor contains four late 20th-century sash windows and a modern doorway. The interior has been modernised.
