Description
This structure is a wall and railings located about 30 yards south of Wimpole Hall, dating from the mid-19th century. It features a brick and stone dwarf wall topped with iron railings. The wall is divided into bays by stone piers, which are adorned with stone vases, urns, and busts from the 18th century. Two of the busts at the west end are by the architect James Gibbs and are elaborately carved with masks, interlace, and scroll work. A third bust at the east end, adjacent to the church, may be a 19th-century copy.
