Description
This is a late 17th-century cottage, with alterations from the 19th century, located on the south side of Silver Street in Willingham. It may originally have been timber-framed, now rendered, with a gable end of soft, dark red brick in English bond, dating to the late 17th century. The roof is covered primarily with buff pantiles, and includes an original stack with grouped shafts on a square base, though the upper part of the stack has been rebuilt. The cottage has a single-range, lobby entry plan. The building is two storeys high, with three 19th-century horizontal sliding sash windows at both the first and ground floor levels. The doorway remains in its original location, opposite the stack. The interior has not been inspected.
