Description

No. 14 Green Street is a villa, likely built around 1850. It is constructed of grey gault brick with stone details and features a shallow-pitched hipped slate roof with internal stacks. The building has a double pile plan and stands two storeys tall with a double front. The quoins are finished with flush stone rustication, and there is a plain stone band at the height of the first-floor sill. The façade has a three-window range of recessed hung sashes, each with twelve panes set in flat arches. The central doorway is framed by a moulded doorcase surround, painted white, and topped with a narrow hood supported by brackets. The ground floor windows on either side of the doorway are full-length, each with twelve panes and adorned with gauged yellow brick arches.
