Description

This is a mid-19th century mile post located at the junctions of Fen Drayton and Conington roads on the north side of Cambridge Road (A604) in Fen Drayton. It is made of cast iron and features inscriptions on each of its three faces, indicating distances to Godmanchester (6 miles), Cambridge (8.5 miles), and Fen Drayton Parish. The mile post is painted black on a white background.
