Description
Old Hall is a cottage dating from around 1500, which was partly damaged in a fire in 1980 and subsequently rebuilt in 1981. The building is timber-framed and rendered, featuring a 20th-century plain tiled half-hipped roof, a brick plinth, and a rectangular ridge stack located to the right of the center. It has one storey and an attic, with an original open hall and a floored bay to the south, and possibly an additional 16th-century bay to the north.
On the east facade, there is a 20th-century three-light bay window and a two-light casement window, along with a gabled dormer window. The interior displays exposed timber framing and shows evidence of hall windows to the north and south. The rebuilt stack incorporates some reused bricks.
