Description
15 The Green is a pair of cottages that have been converted into one cottage. They date from the early 19th century and are constructed with a timber frame and roughcast render. The roof is slated and features a central gault brick ridge stack. The building has two storeys and is designed as a handed pair with a two-unit plan, which has been unified in the 20th century by a gabled porch and a central entrance that includes an 18th-century six-panelled door. Inside, there is an exposed clay bat chimney stack with gault brick hearths, stop-chamfered ceiling beams, one staircase that remains in its original position, and some original boarded doors.
