Description
This is a row of three cottages, now combined into two dwellings, dating from the mid-18th century. The roof was raised, and a first floor added in the mid-19th century. The cottages are built of red brick in a Flemish bond pattern. The roof is covered with pantiles, and there are two internal chimney stacks. The plan is a single range with a kitchen wing at the rear. The cottages are two storeys high. The ground floor retains features from the mid-18th century, including the original doorway opening, now containing a late 18th-century raised panelled door. The ground floor also has three 20th-century casement windows set within original mid-18th-century arches and openings. Some brickwork repairs are visible on the left-hand side. A red brick band marks the junction between the storeys, and the first floor is of a similar later red brick.
