Description

Godmanchester CAMBRIDGE STREET 1. ---------------- 5140 (North Side) No 3 (Chadleigh House) TL 2470 4/76 II

  1. Early C19 front on a partly earlier building. 2 storeys, 3 windows. White brick. Tiled roof. Glazing bars intact. Windows set in round-headed arcading rising through 2 storeys with pilasters flanking each window bay. Central pediment and below this gabled projection of lesser height also flanked by pilasters and containing 1 window. Parapet, hipped tiled roof, brick stacks with corbelled caps. The other fronts are of no especial interest. Brick with sash windows. Later east wing.
