Description

56 and 57 Post Street are a pair of late 18th-century buildings, altered and modernized in subsequent periods. They are constructed of brick and are one storey and attic in height, with two windows each. The windows are modern sashes with glazing bars. The front doors are modern, and No. 57 has a small-paned shop window. The roofs are mansard roofs covered in tiles, with flat-topped dormers. The buildings are included on the list for their group value.
