Description

The gate piers to the garden entrance, located approximately 15 metres north of Stibbington House, date from the mid-19th century. They are made of rusticated limestone and feature a moulded plinth and plain capital, which are topped with urns decorated with swags and masks. The gardens were landscaped in 1927 by L.C. Gilbert for G.W. Abbott, possibly incorporating 19th-century garden ornaments.
