Description
A pair of gate piers and urns mark the south-west entrance to the garden at Sheriff Hutton Hall, dating from the mid-18th century. The piers are constructed of brick, topped with limestone cornices supporting urns. Each urn is surmounted by a pineapple finial. The piers stand approximately 4 metres high and are square in plan, featuring moulded cornices.
