Description

Home Close is an L-plan cottage that dates from the 18th century or early 19th century, with origins in the 17th century. A late 19th-century addition is located at the rear. The cottage is built of local brick and features a modern tile roof with tumbled gable ends and a ridge stack. It is one storey high with an attic, which includes two dormers. The ground floor has two modern casement windows. Inside, there is a 17th-century moulding on the main beam in the ground floor room.
