Description

Old Smith is an L-shaped cottage that dates from the 17th century or earlier. It features a timber-framed structure with exposed timbering and plaster infilling on the north gable end, while the front has been re-faced with stone rubble and red brick dressings. The cottage has a tiled roof and casement windows, with a chimney breast located on the east wall. There is a modern addition in the angle of the L.
