Description

No 6, known as The Bow Window, is an early 15th-century hall house located on the north side of Ramsey High Street. It features a timber frame that is cased in rendered brick with imitation masonry joints and is weather boarded. The building has a steeply pitched slate roof and a gault brick ridge stack. It stands two storeys high and has a door on the west side, along with five modern windows. Inside, the house retains exposed timber-framing on the walls and trusses, as well as the original crown-post roof and re-lined ingle nook hearths.
