Description

A pair of cottages, originally the Old Rectory, dates back to the 17th century. The cottages are timber-framed and have been roughcast rendered, sitting on a rendered plinth. They have steeply pitched red pantiled roofs, with a ridge stack rebuilt above the ridge, and red pantiles to the hipped roof of the crosswing. The plan comprises a hall and a crosswing. The cottages are one storey and attic in height, featuring two cat slide dormers. One doorway is original and sits on the rendered plinth, while a further doorway has been inserted. Two modern bay windows have been added. The crosswing is of two storeys and features modern fenestration. The interior was not inspected.
