Description

The Holy Well is an ancient well located in Holywell-cum-Needingworth, fed by a natural spring. It is covered by a semi-circular brick shelter that features an elliptical arched opening facing east. The shelter is capped by a stone corbel from the 13th or 14th century, along with a stone plaque that reads 'Rev S B Beckwith Rector of this Parish AD 1845'.
