Description

Mansard is a 17th-century cottage located on the north side of Back Lane in Holywell-cum-Needingworth. It features a two-unit plan, which may have originally been three units. The building is one storey with an attic and has a rendered timber-frame structure topped by a modern tile mansard roof. There is a gable stack made of local red brick on the left side and a 19th-century brick stack on the right side. The cottage has four dormer windows, two of which have hung sashes, along with two modern casement windows. The main entrance is on the north side.
