Description

No. 50 Silver Street is a late 17th century cottage with a three-unit plan. The cottage features exposed timber framing on part of the east wall and the north gable end, showcasing straight bracing and slender scantling, except for part of the center bay which incorporates earlier timber. The thatched roof has a rebuilt ridge stack at the south end. The building is one storey with an attic and includes one dormer. There are three modern windows and a modern door in the location of the original entry.
