Description

No. 4 Silver Street is a late 17th century house that was formerly known as the "White Horse" inn. It features a timber frame that is rendered, with a steeply pitched roof covered in slate and modern tiles. The building has two storeys and attics, with two dormers. On the first floor, there is one late 17th century or early 18th century casement window and two 18th century horizontal sliding sash windows. The ground floor has three horizontal sliding sash windows. The original entry to the house has been blocked. There is an early 19th century single storey addition to the north, constructed of red brick and rendered, with a pantiled roof and one dormer.
