Description

Nos 18 and 20 on Mill Road are 18th century houses featuring a three-unit plan. They are constructed with timber framing and plaster, resting on a plinth of plastered soft red brick. The buildings are two storeys high and have an asbestos-tiled roof with parapet gables, along with modern end stacks and a 19th-century ridge stack. The first floor has four casement windows with glazing bars, while the ground floor has four larger windows. There are two modern doors. Inside, the houses showcase exposed timber framing and 18th-century soft red brick hearths.
