Description
Thatched Roofs is a cottage dated 1817, marked by the initials 'CG' on a plaque on the chimney. The building is one storey with attics, featuring a lean-to and a rear wing. It is constructed of gault brick and has thatched roofs with end stacks. A decorative band with saw-tooth brick design runs along the eaves. The cottage has two boxed dormer windows, each with original three-light iron casement windows that have rectangular quarries. There are also two similar three-light windows on the first floor, set within segmental arches. Access is provided by a side entry.
