Description

Rose Cottage is a 17th-century cottage designed in an L-plan. It has one storey and an attic, featuring a timber frame that is partly covered in colour-washed brick and render. The roof is thatched, with a ridge stack and an end stack on the right side, which are plain tiled and stepped. There is one dormer window and a first-floor casement window, both with glazing bars. The main entrance is flanked by horizontal sliding sash windows, also with glazing bars. A modern thatched gable porch has been added to the front. Inside, the cottage has chamfered main beams and a sealed inglenook hearth.
