Description

This is an early 19th-century house with a boundary wall to its south. Constructed of red brick, the house has a 20th-century tiled roof. It is two storeys high and has a symmetrical facade of three bays, with a service range to the west. A panelled front door has reeded moulding, and is sheltered by a patterned cast iron gabled porch with fixed cast iron seats on either side. The windows are 20-paned recessed sash windows, arranged in two rows on each floor, set within segmental brick arches. Gabled chimney stacks are visible at each end.

Inside, the passage floor is paved with stone, and there is an early 19th-century open string staircase. Sealed hearths and alterations to the internal plan are also noted. The garden wall, topped with brick coping, encloses the garden to the south.
