Description

Thatches is a cottage, possibly dating to the 17th century, with later alterations and a 19th-century addition. It is constructed of timber framing with plaster and painted brick. The roof is thatched and slated. The original layout was a three-unit plan, with a gable-end outshut to the west and a two-storey extension to the rear, both dating to the 19th century. A six-panel door is located to the left of the centre. Three leaded-light casement windows are on each floor.
