Description
Manor Farmhouse is an early 18th-century farmhouse with a later addition, renovated and altered in 1916 in a Queen Anne revival style. The house is constructed of red brick and rubble limestone, with plain tiled roofs and a pantiled rear elevation. It has a plastered plinth, and is two storeys high, possibly originally a three-unit plan with a 20th-century extension to the south-west. The main entrance is topped by a shell hood and has side lights to a six-panelled door. Transomed casement windows with leaded lights flank the entrance, each with a flat brick arch and keyblock. Two matching smaller windows are located above, and a central three-light window is present. Two 20th-century two-storey bay windows with hipped roofs and casement windows with leaded lights are situated on either side. Gable end stacks have been rebuilt on the left, and a square-planned ridge stack is visible.
