Description

The garden wall, gate piers, and gates of The Shrubbery date from the 18th century and were later modified. The wall is made of red brick and features weathered coping with a dentil band below. The main entrance has an impressive gateway with stone, panelled gate piers that have scroll supports, an enriched cornice, and are topped with stone ball finials. The gates are made of wrought iron and were added in the 20th century.
