Description

The Gables is a cottage that may date back to the 17th century. It is one storey high with attics and has two later two-storey extensions to the west and north, creating an L-shaped plan. The original cottage is timber-framed and rough-cast, topped with a thatched roof that is half-hipped on the left side. There are two end stacks, and the building features random modern casement windows and a door.
