Description

These are a pair of late 18th-century houses situated at the junction of High Street and East Street. They are two storeys with attics, arranged in an L-shape, with mansard-roofed additions. The houses are constructed of gault brick and have plain tile roofs with parapet gables and end stacks, along with three internal stacks serving the outshuts. There are three flat-roofed dormer windows with hung sashes and glazing bars on the attic level. The first floor features a three-window range of hung sashes with glazing bars. A central shop window has been inserted, flanked by two hung sash windows and two doorways set within segmental arches, one to the left and one to the right.
