Description

Nos 5 and 7 on East Street are 18th century cottages featuring an original three-unit plan. They are one storey high with attics, constructed from gault brick and topped with a thatched roof. The cottages have end stacks and a red brick ridge stack. There is one horizontal sliding sash dormer window with glazing bars. The ground floor has three segmental arched hung sash windows, also with glazing bars and shutters. Additionally, there are two doors on either side, each with four flush panels.
