Description

Forge Cottage is an early 18th-century cottage with a two-bay and lobby entry plan. It features a timber frame that has been partly rebuilt in brick and rendered. The roof is half-hipped and thatched, with a small gault brick chimney stack. The cottage has two dormers, three 20th-century windows, and a porch with a doorway, although the entry is likely in its original position opposite the stack. This building is included for its group value.
